For many years, aspiring entrepreneurs in Ijesa struggled to start and grow their businesses due to a lack of capital, business training, and access to modern technology. Many small businesses failed to thrive, limiting job creation and economic progress in the region.The Initiative:To address this challenge, we partnered with the Ijesa Development Funds to launch the Ijesa Entrepreneurship & Business Growth Program. The goal was to provide funding, training, and mentorship to local entrepreneurs, helping them build sustainable businesses that create jobs and boost the local economy.Project Execution:Our initiative focused on three key areas:✅ Startup Grants & Low-Interest Loans – Over 100 entrepreneurs received funding to start or expand their businesses.✅ Business Development Training – Workshops were conducted on financial management, marketing, and digital business strategies.✅ Access to Technology & Market Linkages – Entrepreneurs were connected to e-commerce platforms and given access to business tools.The Impact:📈 Over 200 Small Businesses Launched – From fashion designers to agro-business owners, new ventures are now thriving.💼 Job Creation for Over 500 People – Businesses have expanded, creating employment opportunities for youths.🌍 Stronger Local Economy – Increased commercial activity has led to a more prosperous community.🔗 Entrepreneurs Connected to New Markets – Digital platforms have helped local businesses reach customers beyond Ijesa.With the Ijesa Development Funds, we have empowered entrepreneurs to transform their dreams into reality, creating lasting economic impact for the region.
